Animal Computerized Enrichment (ACE) develops research-driven interactive systems that support cognitive enrichment, animal welfare, and voluntary engagement, creating meaningful connections between animals and the humans who care for them.

At ACE, we believe technology can be used thoughtfully and responsibly to deepen the connection between people and animals while supporting the highest standards of care. Our work is grounded in the idea that digital systems, when ethically designed, can expand the diversity and variability of traditional enrichment and training practices over time.

Driven by a commitment to study animal cognition and enhance animal welfare, we work closely with caretakers, trainers, and zoological institutions to develop species-appropriate enrichment experiences. These collaborations support animal well-being and can contribute to a deeper understanding of how animals learn, explore and interact with their environments.

ACE systems are developed in collaboration with animal care professions and are designed to be voluntarily engaged with by animals, prioritizing choice and agency.
